Female Folk and Mother Earth
Music has evolved from chants, plainsong and polyphony to the current model of a supportive background and bass-lines (male range) with a high melodic line (female range). The basic philosophy at soundthing is that nature programmed women to be the main musical message carriers and that the goddess perspective is needed now more than ever.
It is my hope and my wish and my dream that soundthing becomes the axis of a wonderful medicine wheel of female folk-centric music, and that this female energy spins it's way around the world.
