Female Folk and Mother Earth
Music in the West has evolved from chants, plainsong and polyphony to the current model of a chordal background and bass-lines (male range) with a high melodic line (female range). The basic philosophy at soundthing is that nature programmed women to be the main musical message carriers and that the feminine perspective is needed more than ever.
The wish is that soundthing becomes the axis of a wonderful medicine wheel of evolving female artists.
